We're seeking a Lead Software Developer to join a cross-functional team delivering high-quality software for key customer projects. You'll work alongside Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Architects, Developers, and DevOps engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development tasks and manage your own workload effectively.
- Work closely with clients to turn requirements into well-tested, working code.
- Take technical ownership through all stages of development, from planning to maintenance.
- Follow agreed standards, tools, and security practices.
- Monitor applications and resolve technical issues proactively.
- Provide realistic time estimates and support sprint planning.
- Carry out code reviews and ensure high-quality delivery.
- Ensure the software adds clear value to the client.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Expert in Java, JavaScript, and Node.js.
- Strong leadership experience across multiple teams.
- Skilled in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and databases (Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with automated testing and continuous deployment.
- Familiar with REST APIs and Microservices.
- Confident using CI/CD tools (Git, GitLab CI, Jenkins, SonarQube, etc.).
- Solid understanding of secure coding and OWASP tools (e.g. ZAP).
- Proven experience in full software development lifecycle.
