This two-form entry school in Leeds is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work in their Year 4 class. Therole will include working one-on-one with individual pupils with challenging behaviour and providinggeneral classroom support. This position is full-time and starting April 2025 until July 2025.

Responsibilities:* Provide support to pupils, teachers and the school, helping to cater for their day-to-day needs* Work proactively as part of a team* Support, recognise and respond to the individual needs of pupils* Use team teach training when appropriate (If Certified)* Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment for all pupils* Be a positive role model to pupils, setting high expectations for behaviour and achievement* Encourage pupils to engage with activities and provide feedback on their progress* Work effectively with the classroom teacher to promote a positive learning environment* Monitor and evaluate pupils progress and provide feedback to the teacher* Be aware of and comply with relevant policies and procedures* Contribute towards the overall aims of the school* Supervise pupils on trips, visits and out of school activitiesRequirements* NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants or an equivalent qualification/ experience* Previous experience working with Primary School pupils of a relevant age* Team Teach Training (desired)
