Job Title: Primary SEN Teacher

The Role:

Veritas Education are currently working with a primary mainstream school in the East Leeds area, with a specialist in-house provision. The provision caters to children from EY to year 6 age groups, with varying complex, communication and learning needs.

The ideal applicant will be...

• Experience in teaching a range of special educational needs across primary age groups.
• Comfortable adapting and delivering a specialised curriculum to meet the needs of all the learners.
• Knowledgeable around both primary and SEN curriculum.
• Understands learning and communication needs at a primary level, and able to implement different teaching strategies to help all children develop in their learning.
• Confident in behaviour management and able to keep a calm, inclusive and controlled learning environment

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Primary teaching experience
• Experience and knowledge around teaching special educational needs
• Team Teach (Preferred - Veritas Education can provide this training
