Academics in Leeds are recruiting a year 3 teacher for one of our "good" 2 form entry schools in the South Leeds area. This position is to start in January 2026 until the end of the academic year.
The role?
This is a long term Year 3 teacher position until the end of the academic year and there is scope for a permanent position in September 2026.
This Year 3 teacher position will suit someone who wants to have their own class and will include planning differentiated lessons, marking and assessing all pupils and providing feedback to both parents/care through reports and meetings.
This is a lovely well behaved class and the school have high expectations and will want the teacher to follow these expectations.
As a year 3 teacher in this South Leeds primary school you will be expected to follow the school ethos and behaviour policies which are all about positive reinforcements.

Ideal candidate?
- Fully qualified teacher
- Experienced within KS2 classes, especially as a year 3 teacher
- Experienced with lesson preparation and planning
- A valid DBS or willing to apply for one
