Basic Starting Salary: £36 000 - £42 000 Per Year
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Working Hours: Days Only | 6am-2pm | Monday-Friday (Very Flexible Hours)

The Tool Maker Role:
We require a tool maker to join a well-established manufacturing company based in the Leeds area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of existing press tools and using a range of machines including Lathes, Surface grinders, Milling machines and CNC lathes. The successful candidate will ideally come from a toolmaker background and have some CNC Lathe/wire EDM experience.
The Tool Maker Duties:
- Bench fitting / Manual Machining, and CNC machining.
- Set and operate a range of machines.
- Making tools from scratch as well as repairing and servicing tools.
- Complete tool reports.
- Control tool modifications.
- Preventative maintenance, modifications and day to day servicing and repairs of production tooling.
- Fabrication of fixtures and spare parts for tooling.
- Methodically dismantling and assembling Press tools.
