We are recruiting on behalf of a respected social housing provider in Leeds for a dependable and motivated Cleaning Operative. This is a great opportunity to join a team committed to maintaining safe and welcoming environments for residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Cleaning void properties to prepare them for new tenants
- Maintaining communal areas across housing sites
- Carrying out basic fire alarm testing and emergency lighting checks
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety procedures
- Full UK driving licence – travel between sites is required
- Previous experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance
- Basic understanding of fire safety and emergency lighting systems (training can be provided)
- Ability to work independently with a proactive approach
- Monday to Friday
- 37 hours
- Full-time hours (some flexibility may be required)
- Use of a company van for work-related travel
