Position: Full-Time Plumber

About the Role: Our client is seeking a skilled and qualified Plumber to join their team, specialising in responsive repairs within social housing. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality plumbing services to our tenants, ensuring their homes are safe and comfortable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform responsive repairs and maintenance on plumbing systems within social housing properties.
  • Diagnose and repair leaks, blockages, and other plumbing issues.
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures and appliances (e.g., sinks, toilets, water heaters).
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service to tenants, addressing their concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and housing officers to ensure efficient service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in plumbing, particularly within social housing or similar environments.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
