Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Welder Fabricator on behalf of one of the UKs largest stainless steel tanker rental companies.
Established over 20 years ago, they are now part of a much larger group. They have a rental fleet of over 200 tankers which are used in the UK and also overseas. Their rental fleet is used in a range of market sectors including Food, Milk & Water, Waste, Chemical and Petroleum.
As the Welder Fabricator you will be able to repair/Refurbish Tankers Trailers, on job training will be given to carry out other repairs to Trailers.
We are looking for a well-organised individual who has good communication skills and an adaptable work style. The ideal candidate will have experience working on tanker trailers but it is not essential.
This is a permanent position paying £32,885 £36,600 per annum depending on experience. Perks include Overtime available at x1.5, Pension and 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays. This will also be reviewed in April. This position is available for an immediate start.
Skills & Attributes
- Able to MIG and TIG weld.
- Good fabrication experience.
- Experience in using electrical or manual tools.
- Use of grinding, drilling, bending equipment and range of finishing tools as part of their fabrication work experience.
- Welder Fabricator Certification.
- Class 1 HGV would be beneficial.
- Coded welding qualification in Stainless Steel would be an advantage.
- Previous experience using a guillotine & press brake.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Well organised and able to work on own initiative.
- Ability to read and follow drawings.
