Purpose of job

An individualwho is well organized, with excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task is essential.Your primary role will be handling all aspects of Quality control, together with After sales & Service.With a Supporting role in Engineering and Health & Safety activities.

Quality activities -Specific responsibilities

  • Report monthly supplier Quality KPI's.
  • Ensure that Machines and attachments are built to the required specification and Quality standards.
  • Ensure product is packed correctly, together with associated paperwork checks prior dispatch to UK and Export customers.
  • Produce quality reports for faulty items.
  • Submit warranty claims for faulty parts on suppliers as required.
  • Chase QR's and Parts warranty claims on suppliers to a conclusion.
  • Investigate RED TAGS and organise corrective actions.
  • Raise returns notes for quality issues.
  • Keep all current SOP's up to date
  • Develop and issue new build procedures and SOP's as required.
  • Monitor pre-production builds.
  • Produce inspection reports and sample approval forms for parts as required.
  • Support new product development as required.
  • Ensure all assembly tools are keep within calibration.

After sales / Sales & Service activities -Specific responsibilities

  • Support customer accounts and queries when required.
  • Customer prospecting as and when required.
  • Run customer training and product workshops when requested.
  • Product after sales support when required.
  • Make repairs to returned machines, in house and on site as required.
  • Prepare repair quotations and estimates.

Production activities -Specific responsibilities

  • High-light and prioritize improved production efficiency opportunities with management.
  • Record cut in numbers of changes and component introductions.

HR & Health and Safety activities -Specific responsibilities

  • Assist as required with Lifting equipment testing and new installs.
  • Assist as required with assembly aids / jigs and fixture installs.
  • Assist as required with equipment repairs and replacement justifications.
Performance measurement
  • Audit all production machine builds to a pre-determined build schedule.
  • To be proficient in the use of SAGE and CIM50.
  • To be proficient in the use of Microsoft office programs.
  • Quality and efficiency of work carried out.
  • Product knowledge and understanding.
  • Accuracy and completeness of all documentation.
  • Accuracy and completeness of SOPs.
  • Management and prioritization of workload.
  • Delivery of improved production efficiency opportunities.
  • To convey a professional image.

Communications

  • To attend and report daily KPIs.
