- Oversee all day-to-day financial operations, including management accounts, cash flow, budgeting and payroll
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, including Solicitors’ Accounts Rules
- Manage and support a small finance team
- Work closely with the board and senior leadership team, providing financial insight to support decision-making
- Liaise with external auditors, banks and other stakeholders
- Lead on financial planning and risk management
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Proven experience in a senior finance role – ideally as a Financial Controller
- Experience working in or with the legal sector is a strong advantage
- Confident managing a finance function from end to end
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, professional environment
- Strong Excel and systems skills
