We're working on behalf of a high-growth, PE-backed organisation in Leicester that's navigating a period of exciting transformation. As the Interim Finance Business Partner / Senior Management Accountant, you'll operate at the heart of this change - supporting key commercial leaders and helping drive strategic decisions that influence performance and profitability.

This is more than just a numbers role's it is about connecting finance to the wider business, using your insight to guide investment, shape operations, and enable sustainable growth.

The Role

This is a broad and hands-on finance role, combining business partnering with core financial responsibilities. You'll act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across Operations, Sales and Marketing, helping turn data into action.

You will also play a key role in ensuring the monthly reporting cycle runs smoothly and that leadership has access to accurate, timely information to inform decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic partner to senior non-finance stakeholders, helping to interpret financial results and influence key decisions

  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis across multiple business areas

  • Produce high-quality management accounts as part of the month-end process

  • Develop and monitor KPIs to track performance and highlight areas for improvement

  • Support business cases, investment appraisals, and scenario planning

  • Identify risks, uncover opportunities, and provide actionable insight to improve margins and operational efficiency

Who We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with confident, collaborative finance professionals who enjoy working in fast-paced, ever-changing environments. You'll be comfortable challenging assumptions, presenting ideas to senior teams, and turning complex financial data into simple, clear recommendations.

Essentials:

  • Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)

  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting and business partnering

  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills

  • Track record of working across commercial functions

  • Previous experience in a contract/interim role is advantageous
