They are seeking a passionate and experienced Accounts Assistant to support their expanding operations and take ownership of the company’s day-to-day finances.As an Accounts Assistant, you'll play a key part in ensuring the company’s financial admin is running smoothly and efficiently.Day to day responsibilities of the successful Accounts Assistant will include:
  • Managing purchase and sales ledgers
  • Reconciling bank transactions and credit card statements
  • Preparing monthly financial reports
  • Processing payroll and expenses
  • Supporting VAT submissions
  • Working closely with the external accountant and wider team
The ideal Accounts Assistant will be confident with numbers and comfortable managing a busy workload. Ideally, you’ll have:
  • Previous experience in an accounts assistant or similar role (ideally within a small to medium-sized business)
  • Good working knowledge of accounting software
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good communication skills
