- Expereince within Social Care finance is desirable
- Helping and developing existing members within the team
- Ensure accuracy of the general ledger through regular reconciliations with business systems (e.g., Oracle, Synergy, Mosaic).
- Implement and monitor internal financial controls and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and Council policies.
- Manage and protect sensitive information securely; report any breaches in line with information security protocols.
- Maintain accurate digital and paper records; ensure secure communication of financial data.
- Build effective partnerships with service areas, care providers, agencies, and internal teams.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with stakeholders via phone, email, post, and visits.
