We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Specialist to join our clients dynamic team. This role is crucial for providing specialist administrative support to designated teams, ensuring efficient service delivery and maintaining high standards of data management. The successful candidate will play a key role in liaising with internal and external agencies to support our services for children, young people, and families.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Maintain and facilitate general administrative duties through the centralised business support team.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and reports, ensuring they are appropriately recorded, tracked, and prioritised.
  • Assist managers across all services to establish service priorities, improve service delivery, and develop and monitor service standards and performance.
  • Ensure information security and confidentiality in line with the Data Protection Act and GDPR Guidelines.
  • Support managers with Freedom of Information requests, data breaches investigations, and complaints.
  • Manage and maintain records for teams, including driver and vehicle checks.
  • Liaise with senior staff in other departments or external bodies, requiring excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Provide a high level of customer care to children, young people, and families.
  • Arrange and service meetings, including booking venues, arranging interpreters and sending out invites
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a similar setting.
  • Strong ability to use and manage computer-based monitoring systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and in compliance with Data Protection laws.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
