Exciting Opportunity: Commercial SME Account Handler – Leicester
We’re partnering with a leading insurance broker who’s recently undergone exciting changes, creating a fantastic opportunity to join their dynamic Leicester office.

What You’ll Do:- Provide direct administrative support to new and existing clients
- Manage new business enquiries, process renewals, handle mid-term adjustments, and assist with day-to-day cover queries
- Ensure client and insurer requests are handled efficiently and in line with company procedures and service standards
- Assist in organising and coordinating the renewal process, including documentation and report preparation for smooth operations
- Support the negotiation process to help secure favourable renewal terms, contributing to high client retention
- Build strong, lasting relationships by delivering prompt, high-quality service to clients and insurers
- Work across a diverse range of insurance classes, including Fleet, Motor Trade, Commercial Combined, SME Packages, Property, EL/PL, and specialist covers like Professional Indemnity, Cyber, and Management Liability
- Experience in commercial broking, ideally with knowledge of SME commercial products such as Fleet, Motor Trade, Commercial Combined, and EL/PL
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact confidently with clients, insurers, and colleagues
- Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and suggest solutions
- Strong analytical skills to support renewals and other administrative processes
- Progress towards or completion of relevant insurance qualifications (e.g., CII Certificate in Insurance) — or a willingness to work towards these with our support
- Experience with Acturis is a bonus, but full training will be provided
- Competitive salary up to £35,000
