Job Title: Spray Line Operative
Location: Leicestershire
Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm (Mon - Thurs) and 7:30am - 1:30pm (Fri)
Pay Rate: 13.00 per hour

The Spray Line Operative Role:

Our client, a leading manufacturer of architectural joinery products is looking for a skilled and reliable Spray Line Operative to join their production team.

This hands-on role involves preparing and finishing timber-based products using automated and manual spray equipment, ensuring all items meet required quality and finish standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate spray line machinery to apply paint, lacquer, or primer to joinery products
  • Prepare components for spraying, including sanding and masking
  • Monitor spray quality, finish consistency, and drying times
  • Conduct basic maintenance and cleaning of spray equipment and work area
  • Work to daily production targets while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Follow health & safety and COSHH regulations in all tasks

The Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a spray-finishing, paint line, or similar production role (wood product experience desirable)
  • Understanding of finishing techniques and surface preparation
  • Familiar with spray guns, automated lines, or paint booths
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality finish
  • Team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
