Accounts Payable Specialist - DE24

Macildowie are working with this client based in DE24 to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic finance team within the logistics and supply chain industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process supplier freight and overhead invoices into both operational and financial systems.
  • Reconcile uploads between operational and financial systems.
  • Resolve supplier invoice disputes and perform monthly statement reconciliations.
  • Manage daily postings of direct debits and execute manual payment runs in GBP and foreign currencies.
  • Conduct monthly cash forecasting and collaborate with operations to resolve internal cost discrepancies.
  • Handle weekly manual payment runs and resolve payment queries with external accountants for the Slovakia branch.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team, including monthly sales reconciliation, inter-company reconciliations, and managing accruals and prepayments.Consilium

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with foreign currency transactions.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
