Macildowie are working with a leading service based client based near Syston, to recruit a Senior Copywriter into their established marketing function.

The RoleThis role sits within a well-known and trusted insurance and compliance provider serving self-employed professionals across the UK. As Senior Copywriter, you'll play a pivotal role in creating compelling, high-quality content that reflects the brand's tone of voice and resonates with both B2B and B2C audiences. You'll be producing content across web, email, landing pages, blogs, social media, and more - always ensuring SEO best practice is embedded into your work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the content strategy across multiple digital channels

• Develop clear, accessible, and compliant copy for a range of insurance products

• Optimise all content for SEO using tools like SEMrush, Moz or Ahrefs

• Work collaboratively with internal teams including digital, marketing and product

• Manage the content calendar and monitor campaign performance metrics

• Uphold consistency of voice, tone and messaging across platforms

About You:

• Proven experience in a similar senior-level copywriting role

• Strong understanding of SEO and its application in content creation

• Confident translating complex financial/insurance terms into everyday language

• Knowledge of CMS platforms (Sitecore preferred), Google Analytics, and SEO tools

• A natural editor with strong attention to detail

• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting

Desirable:

• Degree in Communications, Journalism, English or a related field

• Experience in regulated sectors such as insurance or financial services

• Exposure to paid media copywriting
