I am currently working with a manufacturing company who are going through a period of modernisation. Following a multi-million pound investment program to update their equipment and facilities they are looking for an experienced Project Engineer with capital projects. The ideal person will have the experience to co-ordinate and control these projects in an exciting time for the site and the business as a whole reporting to the Engineering Manager
What you will be doing:
- Running 7 or 8 projects simultaneously on various improvement projects
- Project values from £30K - £1Million
- Plan design and execute each project
- Ensuring Document Management and Compliance for the projects
- Responsible for the safe working compliance of all direct & non-direct staff
- Responsible for writing the technical specs
- Censuring all works are done to Budget
Skills Experience
- Proven track record of running Capex Projects (Mechanical)
- Experience of running onsite contractor management
- Suitable Qualifications in a Mechanical Discipline (Degree/HNC)
- Health and Safety Qualifications (Desirable)
- Computer Literate and able to work with various software
- Experience of working within the food industry would be beneficial
