Group Marketing Manager
The company is a long-standing, successful organisation that continues to grow year on year. As a specialised wholesaler to the Facility Management and Cleaning sector, as well as a UK-based recycled paper converter and innovation creator, they have ongoing aspirations to accelerate their growth targets and expand their market specialisms.
We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company’s business objectives. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping their brand presence, enhancing customer engagement, and supporting their growth initiatives.
The right candidate will be an ambitious Marketing Manager, ready to join their Senior Management Team to lead their marketing efforts, showcase their innovations and drive their brand forward.
Experienced, hands-on and confident in both creative thinking and production requirements, with a healthy appetite to fuel the sales pipeline and support an energetic Sales Team.
As the Group Marketing Manager, you will report to the Managing Director and the Board.
Key Responsibilities:
You will…
- Develop and Deliver Marketing Strategy: Create and implement marketing strategies that support business growth and brand positioning
- Campaign Management: Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and events
- Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials
- Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed
- Lead from the front with a design and production understanding, and the ability to get hands-on as required
- Know the numbers - working to exceed targets whilst understanding all metrics and contributing factors
- Create ideas, content and collateral to showcase the Company and support the sales process
- Influence Company direction and development including product development and services
The Candidate:
You will need…
- A strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies
- Experience in managing marketing teams and campaigns
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms
- Experienced in design and desktop publishing software
- Design and production capabilities
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Creativity and innovation in developing marketing initiatives
- A strong understanding of how to promote products and manage customers/prospects
- Market understanding and insight
- Data manipulation skills - an Excel 'wizard’ would be beneficial
Strategic development experience - Marketing
