With a focus on exceptional customer service, R&D and Quality this innovative company have an exceptional reputation in the Haemostasis and single use surgical market and work extensively within the Cardiothoracic, Neurosurgery, Urosurgery, Ophthalmology, ENT, Dermatology and General Surgical settings

  • "Central territory" - East of the M1 Northampton, Cambridge, Bedford, Sheffield, running down to East Anglia / Luton area. The role also includes a curve around the M69 to include Birmingham
  • £ 45-60k Basic Salary / £12500 commission with over-rider / Excellent package including car corporate benefits including £7000 Per annum car allowance

Role -

The Business Development Manager / Key Account Manager will be responsible for the sales of market leading Haemostasis solutions directly into the surgical setting targeting General Surgery, Cardiothoracic, Neurosurgery, Urosurgery and any other major blood loss surgical environment. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for both new business and account management on their territory with significant focus on training clients and aligning them with the company. There will be an element of in theatre sales and key contacts will include surgeons, procurement, nurses and ODAs. The role is home based and will require significant travel and some nights away from home to ensure the territory is effectively managed.

Applicant -

  • Applicants will have 3+ years surgical sales experience (Theatre based surgical)
  • Applicants will have a thorough knowledge of the NHS and Private Hospital sector.
  • Motivated, driven and able to demonstrate exceptional sales skills the appointed person will be commission hungry and determined to succeed.
  • Applicants could be working as a medical Territory Manager / Sales Representative / Account Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Specialist / ODA / ODP / Theatre nurse or similar.
  • Applicants need to be new business focused and able to close business.
  • It is key that the appointed person is hard working, ethical and able to develop strong working relationships with clinical and procurement staff.
  • The self motivated, hard working sales or clinical professional will want to further their career and be target / objective focused.
