We are recruiting for an Established Toolmakers, renowned for delivering dynamic toolingacross theUK and internationally.We are looking for a skilledToolmaker / CNC Miller Machinist - Programmerto join our growing team and manufacture bespoke components that make a real impact.

Who Are We Looking For?
An innovator with a passion for engineering and problem-solving. You are a skilled machinist with over 4 years of experience working as aToolmaker / CNCMiller Machinist - Programmer. You possess a solid foundation in CNC machining with 3D experience, along with strong engineering know-how. You thrive on precision, are detail-oriented, and enjoy working both autonomously and collaboratively. You are comfortable with managing your own workload and consistently meeting high-quality standards.

Key Requirements :

  • Experience :4+ years in a CNC Machinist Programmer / Toolmaker role.
  • Qualifications :Time-served Tool Maker qualifications or successful completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship.
  • CNC Programming :4 + years experience (preferred).
  • 3D CAD Cam :1 + years experience (preferred).
  • Skills :Strong understanding of CNC machining centers, mechanical drawings, and bespoke component manufacturing.
  • Knowledge :ISO9001 quality standards and ability to work with tight tolerances.
  • Knowledge :Hurco programming Winmax desirable but not essential.
  • Mindset :A curious, problem-solving mindset with excellent attention to detail.
  • Communication :Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally across teams.

Role & Responsibilities :
You will play a hands-on role within our Manufacturing/Toolroom department. The role involves :

  • Setting, programming, and operating CNC milling machines.
  • Working with a variety of materials and producing precision partsdaily.
  • Ensuring machine utilisation is maximised and downtime minimised.
  • Inspecting your own work to ensure it meets ISO9001 standards.
  • Working with engineering drawings and tight tolerances.
  • Supporting other departments and collaborating with team members across the company.
