Are you ready to inspire the next generation of electricians? Due to continued growth, our client is seeking motivated and skilled Trainer Assessors to join their dynamic Construction Department. Whether you're new to training or bring years of experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Trainer Assessor, you’ll deliver high-quality practical training and manage assessments in line with awarding organisation standards. You’ll work with a diverse range of learners, including:
- Full-time students
- School provision learners
- Adult evening groups
You’ll also support the setup and maintenance of assessment areas, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment. This includes:
- Commissioning and decommissioning practical spaces
- Managing health and safety responsibilities
- Procuring tools, equipment, and materials as needed
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for individuals with experience in:
- Electrical installations (industrial, commercial, and domestic)
- Electrical testing and inspection
- Working in team-based environments
- Health & Safety in construction
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- A Level 3 qualification in Electrical (or equivalent)
- Level 2 in Maths and English (GCSE Grade C/4 or above or equivalent)
We will also consider applicants with a Level 2 Electrical qualification who can demonstrate strong, up-to-date industry experience and a commitment to professional development.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience working in a training or educational environment
- Experience working with young people
- An assessing qualification
