You will focus on EBS (Electronic Braking Systems), EBPMS (Electronic Braking Performance Monitoring Systems), and Telematics, providing critical support and training to trailer builders, fleet customers, and end users. Responsibilities:- Collaborate closely with the Senior Engineer - Braking Systems on project initiatives. - Deliver comprehensive training and technical support to trailer builders, fleets, and end users regarding EBS, EBPMS, and Telematics systems. - Troubleshoot technical issues and provide direct support to ensure smooth operation of braking systems. - Stay informed about legislative changes and organizational guidelines (e.g., DVSA, DfT) impacting the commercial vehicle sector. Your Skills and Experience:- Solid understanding of Category O (HGV trailer) Electronic Braking Systems (EBS). - Methodical approach to fault-finding and problem-solving. - Effective communication skills to engage professionally with customers and suppliers across all levels. - Detail-oriented with a results-driven mindset. - HGV mechanic training or technical qualifications such as HNC/HND are preferred but not required. - Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry standards.
