Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Panel Wirer to join a busy manufacturing team, working on the assembly and wiring of electrical control panels for industrial systems. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in electrical wiring, a good eye for detail, and the ability to work from technical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Key Responsibilities

Assembly and wiring of electrical control panels, both bespoke and standardised buildsWorking from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawingsMounting and wiring components such as contactors, relays, timers, PLCs, switches, and terminalsPerforming continuity checks, testing, and fault finding prior to final installationEnsuring wiring is neat, labelled, and completed to industry standards and company specificationsCollaborating with engineers and production staff to ensure timely and accurate buildsAdhering to all health and safety policies and procedures on site

Key Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Panel Wirer in a manufacturing or industrial environmentAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentsCompetent in safe use of hand tools, crimping tools, and wire strippersExperience working on control panels for machinery, HVAC, or similar applications (spray booth experience desirable)Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanshipSelf-motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team

Desirable Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering / Installation18th Edition Wiring Regulations (beneficial but not essential)Background in spray booth or industrial oven control systems (preferred)What We Offer
