About the Role

Our client, a leading manufacturer of architectural joinery products is looking for a skilled and reliable Assembly Operative to join their production team.

You will be responsible for assembling a range of high-quality joinery products using hand and power tools, working in line with technical specifications and internal quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble joinery products to specification using power tools (e.g., impact drills, electric screwdrivers)
  • Read and interpret basic assembly instructions and work orders
  • Check all parts for quality and accuracy prior to and after assembly
  • Work safely and efficiently within a production team
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area
  • Support continuous improvement and meet production targets

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in an assembly or production role (ideally in joinery, manufacturing, or engineering)
  • Confident using power tools, including drills and screwdrivers
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and hands-on attitude
