We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Parts Manager to oversee the inventory, procurement, and distribution of parts for our Swim Spa division. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management, vendor relations, and technical knowledge of swim spa systems or similar equipment. This role is key to ensuring our service team and customers have timely access to the parts and components they need.
Key Responsibilities:Inventory Management:
Maintain optimal inventory levels of swim spa parts and accessories.
Implement inventory control procedures and conduct regular audits.
Use inventory software to track parts usage, stock levels, and reorders.
Procurement:
Source and order parts from manufacturers and vendors.
Negotiate pricing and delivery timelines to optimize costs and efficiency.
Manage purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.
Customer & Service Support:
Support internal service technicians and external customers with parts identification and procurement.
Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support for parts compatibility.
Ensure timely fulfillment of parts requests for service appointments and repairs.
Vendor & Supplier Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with parts suppliers.
Monitor vendor performance to ensure quality and reliability.
Logistics & Shipping:
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments of parts.
Ensure correct labeling, packing, and documentation for all shipments.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with sales, service, and warehouse teams to align parts availability with customer needs.
Train and supervise warehouse or parts department staff if applicable.
Proven experience as a Parts Manager or in a similar role (experience with swim spas, hot tubs, or pool equipment preferred).
Strong understanding of swim spa systems, parts, and maintenance requirements.
Proficient with inventory management software and tools.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
High school diploma required; associate or technical degree preferred.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks Enterprise).
Forklift certification or experience is a plus.
Technical certification in spa or pool equipment (e.g., CPO) is a plus.
