Churchill Howard are excited to partner with a FTSE listed business to recruit a 12 month interim FP&A analyst.You will be responsible for driving the financial planning cycle, analysing business performance (EBIT, working capital, sustainability initiatives), and leading key reporting initiatives across business divisions. You'll challenge business assumptions, model scenarios, and support long-term strategic planning activities.Key Responsibilities:Analyse and report monthly financial and operational results against budget, forecast, and prior year.Deliver detailed variance analysis across revenue, cost optimisation, and working capital.Support Group reporting submissions and business performance reviews.Lead coordination of major planning cycles (Forecast, Budget, Mid-Term Plan).Develop and present insightful financial simulations and scenario analyses.Support and challenge business finance teams through independent performance reviews.Lead and participate in projects focused on process improvement and reporting efficiency.Develop management reports for senior stakeholders, delivering clear financial storytelling and visual insights.What We're Looking For:ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CA qualified with significant post-qualification experience.Proven FP&A and financial analysis experience within a complex, matrixed organisation.Strong commercial and business acumen, ideally with experience in industrial, manufacturing, or construction sectors.Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with BI tools (e.g., QlikView, Insight Software) is highly desirable.Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and present at senior levels.A proactive, analytical thinker with a drive for results, continuous improvement, and delivering business value.
