We are currently recruiting for a Mortgage Administrator on a full time and permanent basis for our client based in Leicester.

Salary: 25,000 to 30,000 per annum depending on experience

Working: Monday to Friday

25 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays

Free onsite parking

About the role:

The Mortgage Administrator will provide dedicated administrative support to a Mortgage & Protection Adviser. You will be responsible for ensuring all converted cases progress smoothly, keeping both clients and advisers informed at every stage of the process.

Provide full administrative support to the Mortgage & Protection Advisers

Document preparation and business submission.

Proactively contact qualified mortgage and protection leads

Arrange client call backs and schedule meetings with new and existing clients.

Liaise with advisers, lenders and conveyancers and solicitors to ensure efficient and appropriate client handling.

Manage converted cases alongside the adviser

Ensure all paperwork and relevant documents are accurately completed

Upload and store in compliance with GDPR and internal policies.

Maintain regular client communication via phone, email, and written correspondence.

Independently manage workflows and tasks, meeting service level agreements without supervision.

About you:

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook, with the ability to quickly learn in-house systems.

Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.

High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards and exceptional client service.

Professional and confident telephone manner, with flexibility in managing diaries and appointments.

Ideally, experience in the mortgage and protection process from inception to completion, preferably within a whole-of-market brokerage.

Ability to manage high volumes of tasks under pressure and meet deadlines.

Experience in producing compliant and detailed suitability reports for Mortgages and Protection is advantageous.
