We are seeking an individual to inherit a book of Corporate and Commercial Clients and to lead a Team of Commercial Insurance Handlers.  Ideally, you will have Client facing and team management experience, but either will be considered. You will also be a  member of the Senior Management Team. 

The Role:

  • Inherit a book of commercial insurance business consisting of various trades and sectors
  • Visit Clients to advise them on risk and insurance matters
  • You will take ownership of your own diary reporting into the Leicester office
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Mentor and coach junior members of the team as well as overseeing team performance. 
  • You will act as a technical referral point for the team
  • Working closely with management to collaboratively resolve issues, improve processes, develop drive performance. 

Your Requirements:

  • Previous Client facing experience and/or Team Leader/Management experience
  • Experience in building and maximising income opportunities from existing client portfolios
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong market knowledge and insurer relationships
  • Experience and understanding of FCA compliance and regulatory processes
