RECfinancial is supporting a Leicester based FMCG business in the appointment of a Finance Manager to join the business as they move into their next growth stage.

The role is based at a very smart HO which is commutable distance from all areas of Leicester / Leicestershire, Nottingham, Derby and Coventry / Warwickshire.

This is an exciting role for a candidate who wants to take charge and lead a busy finance function. Reporting to the Senior Leadership team, this exciting Finance Manager role will manage and develop / support a team of 5. Day to day responsibilities will include the preparation and production of the monthly accounting and supporting analysis, long range planning, budgeting / forecasting, year end and managing the cashflow.

The role is a senior appointment for the business and will be part of the firm's SLT.

The role is much more than just being the firm's finance manager as you will work cross functionally to develop decision making from a financial and commercial point of view.

The role would suit a candidate who is looking for a number one role in a busy SME. You will be process and efficiency focused as there is a significant opportunity in the role to develop the function, its internal process and outputs to the business.

It's likely that you are in a Finance Manager or Financial Controller type role currently and you are qualified in either the ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualification.

The business is in a great position and the role is seen internally as a key hire for the company's growth.

The role offers a salary of between £60,000 and £70,000 plus a great benefits package.
