Finance Manager - Permanent - £50,000 - £60,000 per annum - Leicester

Macildowie are supporting a successful and forward-thinking organisation in their search for a Finance Manager. This is a permanent opportunity, with a hybrid working model (3-4 days in the office).

This is a key role within the finance team, responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, driving forecasting and budgeting processes, and supporting business decision-making through insightful analysis. You'll also lead and develop a small team, ensuring robust controls and efficient processes are maintained.

This position would suit a hands-on qualified accountant who is looking to take ownership of end-to-end finance activity within a dynamic and growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver timely and accurate monthly management accounts
  • Lead month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Produce MI packs with variance analysis and financial commentary
  • Support budgeting and forecasting cycles across the organisation
  • Oversee VAT returns and maintain strong internal financial controls
  • Line manage and support the development of finance team members
  • Assist with audit preparation and ad hoc financial projects

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with at least 2 years post-qualified experience
  • Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams
  • Strong technical knowledge and commercial acumen
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Confident working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with finance systems
