Finance Team Leader
My client is a Local Authority in the East Midlands who are looking to appoint an InterimFinance Team Leader, Spencer Clarke are working to find the successful candidate.
About the role:
Based in East Midlands(Primarily Remote):
This role is to manage designated areas of the Council's finance function including, but not exclusively: annual budget, council tax setting, Statement of Accounts, statutory reporting, insurance, treasury management and financial and capital accounting.
What's on offer:
- Salary: £500 - £600 per day, inside IR35.
*negotiable based on experience

- Contract type: Contract (36.25 hrs a week)
- Hours: 09:00 -17:00 Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
- Managing the team of four finance business partners, capital accountant and treasury accountant.
- The lead for quarterly budget monitoring, reports to Cabinet, annual budget setting and statutory reporting.
About you:You will have the following experiences:
- CCAB qualification or equivalent
- Extensive experience of financial management in local government
