Job Title: Business Relationship Manager
Location: Leicester
Salary £40,000–£50,000 base + commission
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 9 am–5 pm
Type: Permanent

 

We are hiring for a Corporate Business Relationship Manager who has a strong track record in developing and maintaining corporate client relationships within the energy or utilities sector. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will play a key role in acquiring new corporate clients and expanding current key accounts to drive business growth.

 

Duties of a Business Relationship Manager

In this role, you will be working in the Business Development Team to drive revenue through client acquisition and retention. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Building and managing a pipeline of high-value corporate clients
  • Leading client consultations and providing expert advice on energy and utility solutions
  • Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Managing and reviewing Meter Operator, kVA, and Data Collector appointments
  • Coordinating with internal admin teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing client service

 

Skills and experience of a Business Relationship Manager

As a Business Relationship Manager, you need to have experience with:

  • Business development in the energy/utilities sector
  • Managing high-value accounts and driving client retention

 

It would be beneficial to the Business Relationship Manager role if you also had:

  • Strong understanding of CRM systems and data integration
  • Proven ability to hit and exceed sales targets in a B2B environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
