Financial Planning Administrator/ Receptionist (Financial Planning Firm)

NJR Recruitment are currently working alongside a well-established firm of Independent Financial Advisers and Insurance Brokers who are now recruiting for an IFA Administrator / Receptionist. This role has come about due to internal progression. The role will involve working with a busy team of Financial Planners to provide support them with a hands-on service ensuring a seamless process for clients. The role will also involve reception cover two days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Process new business, client illustrations and Valuations, schedule Client Appointments
  • Comply with the relevant compliance, TCF, T&C and, financial crime (anti-money laundering, data security, anti-bribery, fraud and corruption) procedures of the company at all times
  • Receiving clients; greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately. Checking their details are up to date on the system and providing them with refreshments where appropriate.
  • Answering the phones and taking clear, detailed messages, screening and directing calls to the appropriate member of the team.
  • Opening, sorting and scanning/distributing the post.
  • Organising the outgoing post ready for collection at the end of the day.
  • Keeping reception/meeting rooms tidy.
  • Photocopying.
  • Preparing client files.
  • General administrative duties including LOA processing.
  • Printing and posting of signature documents where applicable.
  • Database Management and input.

The successful candidate will need to have industry related experience and have a good knowledge base with regards to Pensions and Investments. You will need to also ideally have reception/front of the house experience, delivering a first-class service, to both clients and colleagues.
