Job Role: FLT DriverLocation: Leicester, LE4Shift: DaysPay Rate: £12.50 - £13.00 per hour depending on experience.

Our Client:

A successful manufacturing company working across a range of industries across the UK. Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Driver/Labourer to join their dynamic team. This position involves operating a forklift and performing general labor duties in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a forklift to move materials and products throughout the warehouse
• Load and unload trucks, and stack and store items in designated areas
• Assist with general labor tasks such as packaging, assembly, and inventory control
• Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and other warehouse equipment
• Update the computerised Warehouse Management System
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace

Qualifications:

• Valid forklift certification and/or prior experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting
• Demonstrated ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor tasks
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Computer literate and able to confidently enter data into the computerised system
• Flexibility to work in a variety of warehouse environments and adapt to changing priorities

Day-to-day:

• Operate forklift to transport materials and products
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks
• Perform general labor duties such as packaging and inventory control
• Communicate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse
