Stores Person

DC Personnel are recruiting for a Stores Person for a specialist supplier and online retailer located the LE9 area of Leicestershire.

Full time permanent role

Salary : 28,000 - 30,000 per annum DOE

Hours:
7:30 - 4:30 Monday - Thursday & 7:30 - 12:30 Friday.
39 hours per week

Own transport is preferred or able to commute

You will be required to:

- Operate and run the stores department
- Check arrival dates, check items for damages and quantities
- Quality inspection of goods
- Maintain safe working practices in the stores and with a clean and tidy environment
- Report any discrepancies to the shop floor manager

Ideal candidate will have :

- Ideally you will come from a stores background and have experience in stores, or stores administration Good communication skills
- An eye for detail and numerical skills
- Computer literate and familiar with Windows systems
- Well organised and have a structured approach
- Able to work under pressure to deliver against deadlines
- A Forklift driver licence is an advantage but not essential
