People Solutions are currently recruiting for an afternoon Van Driver to join our well-established client based in LEICESTER, EAST MIDLANDS. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

This role will be ongoing for the right candidate.

Day to Day Duties

• Complete customer deliveries in a timely manner, whilst adhering to health and safety guidelines
• Delivery of products in accordance with the order to the customer
• Unloading and loading goods on pallets / loose
• Make deliveries to residential properties
• Provide excellent customer service skills

Essential Skills

• Hold a valid UK Category C1 Licence
• Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving C1 vehicles
• Clear licence
• Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
• Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
• Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Effective communication skills
• Good customer service skills
• Previous multi drop experience
• Time management, route planning, general vehicle knowledge

Desirable Experience

• 12+ months multi drop experience
• Has worked in a similar fast paced delivery environment

Training

• Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
