I'm working with a well-established, forward-thinking accountancy firm in Leicester who are looking to bring in an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their growing team. This is a client-facing, mixed-role opportunity offering exposure to audits, statutory accounts, and ad hoc advisory projects across a diverse client base. The firm is known for its supportive culture, high-quality client work, and commitment to staff development. This is an ideal next step for someone who enjoys variety, client interaction, and wants to avoid being pigeonholed into pure audit or pure accounts.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Leading on-site audits from planning to completion
  • Preparing year-end statutory accounts for SMEs, owner-managed businesses, and limited companies
  • Reviewing junior team members' work and providing guidance
  • Managing a portfolio of clients across multiple sectors
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Supporting with ad hoc advisory projects (e.g. forecasting, due diligence)
  • Liaising directly with partners on more complex assignments
What They're Looking For
  • ACA / ACCA qualified (or finalist with strong experience)
  • 3+ years' experience in an accountancy practice
  • Comfortable leading audits and preparing full accounts
  • Confident communicator who enjoys client contact
  • Able to work independently and as part of a wider team
  • Organised, proactive, and eager to progress
