This role focuses on imaging computers, managing shipping and inventory, tracking and receiving equipment, and providing scheduled 1:1 support sessions with users on their first day. Unlike traditional helpdesk roles, this position emphasizes hands-on support and direct interaction with users.Key Responsibilities:Imaging & Deployment: Efficiently image and deploy PCs, laptops, and mobile devices to ensure a smooth setup for new users.Shipping & Inventory Management: Oversee the shipping, receiving, and tracking of IT equipment, maintaining accurate inventory records.User Support: Conduct scheduled 1:1 sessions with new users to provide Day 1 support, ensuring they are fully equipped and comfortable with their devices and software.Hardware & Software Resolution: Address and resolve hardware and software issues related to PCs, laptops, mobile phones, and desktop telephony within agreed SLAs.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation and process enhancements to improve the production environment.Compliance: Deliver technology solutions in accordance with agreed standards, ensuring all activities comply with security protocols.Experience:Minimum of 2 years working with End User Compute devices, with a particular focus on Microsoft products.Technical Skills: Proficiency in image deployment, maintenance, and familiarity with mobile technologies.Hardware Knowledge: Experience with a range of hardware including PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, and network equipment.Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively conduct 1:1 user support sessions and collaborate with team members.
