We are currently supporting a specialist sheet metal fabrication company focused on the design and manufacture of bespoke POS/POP display solutions. Serving leading brands and retail suppliers across the UK, our client takes pride on delivering high-quality, visually impactful metalwork to tight deadlines. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a motivated Internal Sales Representative to support our team.

Role Overview:

The Internal Sales Representative will be responsible for handling incoming sales enquiries, preparing accurate quotations, processing orders, and maintaining strong customer relationships. This role is central to ensuring our clients receive responsive service and tailored solutions that meet their display requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to incoming sales enquiries by phone and email
  • Prepare and issue accurate quotations based on client briefs, technical drawings, and pricing guidelines
  • Liaise with the design, estimating, and production teams to confirm feasibility, costs, and lead times
  • Accurately input and process orders using internal systems
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business
  • Proactively follow up on quotes to convert them into confirmed order
  • Support with lead generation and account management tasks
  • Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to inform business strategy
  • Deal effectively with any customer queries or issues, escalating as required
  • Keep CRM and order management systems updated with all relevant communications and documentation

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience in internal sales or sales support within a manufacturing or fabrication environment
  • Knowledge or interest in sheet metal fabrication, particularly for POS/POP displays, is highly advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings (advantageous but not essential)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM/ERP systems
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive, customer-focused attitude
