Macildowie is proud to be working in partnership with a valued client based in Leicester, who are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their team on an initial 12-month fixed term contract.This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being hands-on with all aspects of advisory work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and employees across a range of employee relations matters.
  • Support and lead on disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence management cases.
  • Work closely with line managers to coach and support best HR practice and compliance with employment legislation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support change initiatives including restructures and consultations.
  • Contribute to HR project work and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure systems are up to date.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in an HR Advisor or similar advisory role.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and able to manage a busy and varied workload.
  • CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) would be advantageous.
  • This role is 100% office-based in Leicester and would suit someone who is keen to be fully immersed in the day-to-day HR operations of a busy team.
