Job Role: CAD Technician (AutoCAD)
Location or Commutable from: Leicester
Salary: £35,000 to £38,000 per annum DOE
The Company:
You will be joining a creative design and manufacturing company specialising in creating retail environments for all types of brands
The role:
To be responsible for the production of technical designs and process activity of the business.
The Candidate:
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Joinery background - essential
- Excellent ability to interpret and read drawings
Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities:
- Aid the design process for each contract and ensure each design is within the legal framework defined by each contract
- Create detailed design and manufacturing drawings for components, assemblies and large structures
- When appropriate liaise directly with the customer concerning design parameters to ensure an accurate design specification.
- Assist in the methodology for each project, and liaise where appropriate with the sub-contractors to ensure the correct design and implementation of each project is agreed and understood by all parties.
