We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a dynamic and fast-growing business in the digital consumer e-commerce sector, listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join their dedicated IT department based in Leicester.

About the Role:
As an IT Support Engineer, you will provide both first and second line support to users across the organisation. This is a hands-on, onsite position where you will work closely with the IT Service Delivery Manager and wider IT team to ensure the smooth operation of all technical services. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, managing service requests, and assisting with onboarding and hardware provisioning.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide effective technical support to users onsite and remotely.
Troubleshoot issues related to Windows 11, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and other key systems.
Manage and resolve incidents and service requests via the company's ticketing system.
Adhere to and contribute towards IT support documentation and processes.
Escalate issues appropriately to internal teams or third-party suppliers.
Assist with new user onboarding and hardware/software setups.
Maintain a professional and empathetic approach when dealing with users at all levels.

Required Skills and Experience:
Strong communication skills and confidence working with users across all levels of the business.
Ability to follow procedures and contribute to continuous service improvement.
A collaborative team player with a proactive and customer-first mindset.
Well-organised with keen attention to detail.
Experience supporting:
o Windows 10 & 11
o Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
o Network troubleshooting

Desirable Experience:
Familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
Experience using Microsoft admin portals, including:
o Intune
o Microsoft Defender
o Exchange Admin Center
o SharePoint Admin Center
Exposure to Jira Service Desk or similar ITSM tools.
Understanding of VEEAM for backup and recovery.
Basic networking knowledge, ideally with Unifi (Ubiquiti) systems.

Qualifications:
Level 3+ IT-related qualification (e.g. BTEC Level 3, CompTIA A+/Network+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate).
A degree in IT or Computer Science is advantageous but not essential.
Minimum of two years' experience in a 1st and/or 2nd line IT support role.
