Assistant Stock Controller

We are currently looking for an experienced Stock Controller on behalf of our client.

This is an immediete start for the right candidate!

Working hours

07:00 - 16:00

Monday to Friday

Daily Duties:

• Make sure cycle counts are completed
• Deal with ad hoc urgent stock check requests
• Update stock information on the system
• Move stock with a forklift truck or PPT
• Carry out spot checks and audits
• Flag an issues that arise

Person Requirements:

• Good with numbers and accuracy
• Attention to detail
• Willingness to learn new tasks
• Support the team
• Ability to work well with others
• Physical skills like movement, co-ordination and dexterity
• Active listening skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• To be able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device
• Computer literate
• Reach truck and PPT licence

Preferred but not essential:

• Trainer qualifications for forklift, reach trucks
