Technical Administrator – Financial ServicesSalary: £30,000Location: Leicestershire (Office-Based)Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon–Fri, 9am–5pmAre you an experienced Financial Services Administrator looking for a long-term, in-office role where your expertise is truly valued?A well-established and friendly Independent Financial Services firm based in Leicestershire is seeking a Technical Administrator to provide ongoing support to one of their Independent Financial Advisers. This is a full-time, permanent position within a collaborative and professional environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Letters of Authority (LOAs) and liaise with clients and providers
  • Prepare appointment packs, valuations, portfolio comparisons, and cash flow data
  • Action fund switches and complete attitude to risk questionnaires
  • Manage adviser diary and appointment bookings
  • Process new business applications and death claims
  • Produce suitability letters and maintain compliant client records
  • Communicate professionally by phone, email, and post
  • Support general admin tasks and attend team meetings and training sessions
What You’ll Bring:
  • At least 5 years of administration experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills and a confident phone manner
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems (e.g., Xplan/Curo)
  • Highly organised, detail-focused, and self-motivated
