Construction Solicitor (3–6 PQE) – National Law Firm – Leicester I'm working with a highly regarded national law firm that’s looking to strengthen its well-established Construction & Engineering team with the addition of a talented associate. This is an exciting opportunity based in the firm’s Leicester office and would suit a solicitor with 3–6 years’ post-qualification experience. The role sits within a dynamic and growing team that handles a broad spectrum of construction work, spanning both contentious and non-contentious matters. You'll work closely with an experienced partner, gaining exposure to high-quality work and high-profile clients across various sectors. This firm is known for its collaborative culture, national reach, and client base which includes developers, national housebuilders, contractors, consultants, and a wide range of commercial organisations. Their construction team is involved in both UK-based and international projects, offering a diverse and intellectually stimulating caseload.The ideal candidate will have:
  • Between 3–6 years’ PQE, with demonstrable experience in construction law – contentious, non-contentious, or ideally a mix of both.
  • A solid understanding of construction law principles and relevant contractual frameworks (e.g. JCT, NEC).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
  • A proactive mindset and a genuine interest in business development.
  • A collaborative working style and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
