THE ROLE:
As a Family Law Solicitor, you will pay a pivotal role in providing expert legal counsel and guidance to clients facing complex family matters. This is a hybrid role that allows for a blend of remote and in-office work to ensure a healthy work-life balance. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing legal advice and representation in family law matters, including: Divorce, child custody, domestic violence and financial settlements.
- Conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, and attending court proceedings on behalf of clients.
- Collaborating with clients to understand their unique circumstances and providing compassionate support during challenging times.
- Keeping abreast of changes in family law legislation and case law, to provide up-to-date legal guidance.
- Managing and maintaining client files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
ABOUT YOU:
To be considered for this role, you need to be a qualified Solicitor with no less than 5 years experience in Family Law Practice, with a strong knowledge of family law regulations and case law. You will need exceptional communication and negotiation skills and have the ability to handle a diverse caseload. Finally, you should have a proficiency in legal research, document drafting and using case management software.
