Residential Conveyancing Lawyer – Solicitor / FCILEx / Licensed Conveyancer Leicester |  Salary: Dependent on experienceAbout the RoleA leading law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Lawyer to join its team in Leicester. This is an exciting opportunity to handle a broad range of residential property transactions while contributing to the continued growth and success of the department. Hybrid working is available.Key Responsibilities

  • Manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, shared ownership, lease extensions, new build and right-to-buy transactions
  • Review titles, identify and resolve legal issues and provide clear, proactive advice to clients
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including AML and CQS standards
  • Provide an exceptional client service experience, building strong relationships with clients, referrers, estate agents and mortgage providers
  • Supervise and support conveyancing assistants, ensuring training and development needs are met
  • Meet billing targets and contribute to the ongoing marketing and promotion of the firm’s residential property services

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor, FCILEx or Licensed Conveyancer with proven experience in residential conveyancing
  • Able to work independently on a full caseload, including more complex transactions
  • Strong client care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Commercially minded, organised and proactive in problem solving
