- Opening new files and completing client due diligence
- Ordering property searches and preparing contract packs
- Drafting and managing correspondence and legal documentation
- Liaising with clients, agents, and third parties over the phone and via email
- Assisting with pre-completion matters including searches, SDLT, completion statements and accounts requests
- Completing post-completion formalities
- Keeping matter files and case management systems up to date
- Supporting fee earners and participating in team meetings
- General administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, filing, and managing post
- Previous experience working within a conveyancing department (residential or commercial)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A proactive and positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
- Competency using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
